Definition and function of cookies
Cookies are files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone, television, tablet) when you visit some websites. They provide websites with information about the user’s browsing habits and can be used to learn about the user.
The user’s browser saves them during the session on the hard disk. On the other hand, they take up very little space and do not damage the user’s computer. Cookies do not store any specific personal information and most are deleted from the hard drive when the browser session is closed.
Most browsers accept cookies as standard and, through security settings, allow or reject temporary and cached cookies.
