UZEI’s terminological dictionaries and glossaries are now more user-friendly and feature a clearer interface, as we have revamped the design of these online resources: Dictionary of Climate Change and Ecological Transition, Dictionary of Architecture, Terminological lexicon of the MZT Congress, Terminology of the Tour, Terminology of fixed seat rowing, and Kirolkidea.

Integration of Euskalterm results into the dictionaries

In addition to the redesign, these dictionaries offer a more comprehensive search experience since last year. Thus, when performing a search in UZEI’s dictionaries, the application also automatically queries the public terminology database Euskalterm. Consequently, if the term being searched for is not found in the dictionary, the application looks it up in Euskalterm and displays the results directly on the same website, clearly indicating the source. This allows users to perform more comprehensive terminology searches.

For this development, UZEI has received support from the Basque Government’s Department of Culture and Language Policy.
