news

As UZEI is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Association for Terminology (EAFT Board), our colleague Bego Arrate took part in the EAFT Terminology Summit 2025 on November 27 and 28, organized by the EAFT in collaboration with the University of Innsbruck.

The congress focused on terminology planning in Europe and brought together more than 100 terminologists from across Europe. The event was successful and enriching.

Alongside Bego Arrate, the following are members of the EAFT Board: Henrik Nilsson (C.A.G Next, Sweden), Úna Bhreathnach (Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge, Dublin City University, Ireland), Sandra Cuadrado (TERMCAT, Catalonia), Niina Nissilla (School of Marketing and Communication, University of Vaasa, Finland), Mojca Žagar Karer (Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language ZRC SAZU, Slovenia), and Elena Chiocchetti (Eurac Research, Italy).
