In addition to the purely orthographic analysis, it detects the use of those words which in standard Spanish have the marks\u00a0<em>use<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>use preferably<\/em>, and proposes the recommended forms instead. Along with the general lexicon, it also analyses terminology, so it can be used to check specialised texts.<\/p>\n<p>This tool is based, on the one hand, on\u00a0<strong>esLEX<\/strong>, the lexical database of the general lexicon in Spanish. This general lexicon is based on the rules of the RAE, the recommendations of the Fund\u00e9u foundation and general lexicons (toponyms, personal names from onomastic databases). In addition, it also includes forms that we consider essential nowadays and that appear in corpora, encyclopaedias, and the Internet, among other sources.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand,\u00a0<strong>DITEes<\/strong>\u00a0also takes as a reference UTH, the database that collects the terminological decisions of UZEI.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that\u00a0<strong>esLEX<\/strong>\u00a0collects not only the \u00abcorrect\u00bb forms, but also those that are considered variant and incorrect, is a condition of possibility to improve the detection of the lexicon in real use and to offer the relevant usage recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>UZEI constantly updates both databases (<strong>esLEX<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>UTH<\/strong>), which, in turn, ensures that the verification and proposals for the use of\u00a0<strong>DITEes<\/strong>\u00a0are always in line with the standards and recommendations for the lexicon, both general and specialised.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DITEes\u00a0has been created by UZEI to verify the correct use of the Spanish lexicon.
