The lexical database for Spanish

esLEX is a lexical database for Spanish containing some 132,000 entries. It is constantly updated with the norms and recommendations of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), as well as with the neologisms detected by UZEI in the media.

It forms the basis of the morphological analyzer for Spanish, together with the grammar for two-level morphology.

esLEX, like its equivalent for Basque (euLEX), contains both general and specialized lexicon, and is, in turn, a fundamental basis for the NLP resources developed by UZEI for the Spanish.
